  • Do I need contents insurance?
    While contents insurance is not mandatory, we highly recommend it to safeguard your personal belongings. We can provide guidance and support in obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for your peace of mind.
  • Do you accept couples?
    Yes, we warmly welcome couples to our apartments. Some of our apartments are designed to accommodate couples, providing the opportunity to stay together and continue enjoying life's journey side by side in the knowledge that we have the specialist care each of you may need at any time.
  • Will I receive help moving into my home?
    Yes, our dedicated staff are here to assist you every step of the way. From coordinating moving logistics to helping you settle into your new home, we're committed to ensuring a smooth transition and a warm welcome to our home.
  • Do you offer Day Care Services?
    Absolutely! Social interaction and community involvement bring joy and fulfilment to all of our lives. But for some, isolation and inaccessibility mean that social activities are not possible. At Autumn Assisted we recognise this and believe that everyone should have access to social interaction and community activities. We offer day-care services and social outings helping individuals grow their independence, meet new people and remain a valued part of their community. Please contact us for any short term or day care support you may need.
  • Can I decorate as I wish?
    Absolutely! We encourage you to personalise your living space to reflect your unique personality and preferences. Whether it's hanging family photos or arranging cherished belongings, we want you to feel truly at home.
  • Are the rooms furnished or unfurnished?
    Our apartments come unfurnished so that you can bring all your furniture and belongings with you. We aim to ensure your living space feels comfortable and tailored to your needs and style.
  • Do you offer a trial period so that we can see if Autumn Assisted Living is for us?
    Yes we do! Providing we have availability, we can happily work out an initial trial period in our home to see if it will work for you or your loved ones. Please just contact us to find out more.
  • Can my contract be terminated?
    While we hope you'll find our home to be your forever home, we understand that circumstances may change. We offer flexible contract options and work with residents and their families to accommodate evolving needs and preferences. Your happiness and well-being are our primary concerns.
  • Are there opportunities for residents to give feedback or participate in decision-making?
    Yes, we value the input and engagement of our residents. We regularly seek feedback and provide opportunities for involvement in decision-making processes to ensure our community continues to meet your needs and preferences.
  • Can I work for you?
    We are always interested to hear from people looking for a career in care. We offer places on a either full time basis, or for just a few hours per week. Work opportunities include care, cleaning and chef duties - and experience isn’t necessary as we can provide full training. Please contact us using the form below to find out more.
  • Will I be safe in my apartment?
    Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We maintain a secure environment with emergency call systems and staff available 24/7 to ensure your peace of mind. Additionally, our apartments are designed with safety features to provide a comfortable and secure living space.
  • What if I have a fall or an accident?
    Rest assured, our trained staff are always ready to assist in case of emergencies. We have protocols in place to respond promptly to any incidents, ensuring your safety and providing necessary medical attention as required.
  • Do you offer transportation services for medical appointments or errands?
    Absolutely! We understand the importance of maintaining your health and independence. Our community provides transportation services to ensure you can attend medical appointments and run errands with ease.
  • How do you cater for people with dementia?
    All of our staff are Dementia Champions. This means that they have specialist training in dementia so that they can help in every way from getting diagnosis and medication, helping with day to day requirements, right through to specialist care in our Dementia Unit. Our care also considers the carer within a couple, where one person might be suffering with dementia. Supporting the carer and offering respite care can often be an essential service in keeping couples together for longer.
  • What if I require personal care?

If you wish to cook for yourself, we're here to support you every step of the way, whether it's assisting with meal preparation as part of your care package or ensuring you have access to a well-equipped kitchen in your apartment. Additionally, for added convenience and peace of mind, we offer two delicious meals a day served either in your own apartment or in our dining room, according to your preference. Our menu options are carefully crafted to cater to various dietary needs, ensuring that every meal is not only nutritious but also tailored to your tastes. Your satisfaction and well-being are our utmost priorities, and we're dedicated to providing the support and options you need to feel comfortable and empowered in your daily life.

  • How do you handle laundry services?

  • Can I get my hair/feet done?
    Absolutely! We can call in salon services right here on-site for your convenience. Pamper yourself with professional hair and foot care services, helping you feel your best every day.
